Louisiana Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Her Boyfriend During an Argument with Another Person
The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on August 15, 2022, that a 28-year-old woman from Princeton, Louisiana, was arrested for reportedly stabbing her boyfriend in Keithville, Louisiana.
Just after 10 p.m., the event was reported to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office. Friday, August 12th Wendy Bertrand, according to detectives, stabbed her boyfriend in the arm during an argument with her boyfriend’s sister and then fled before cops arrived. Bertrand was eventually found at a nearby gas station by patrol deputies, while her boyfriend was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Wendy Bertrand was apprehended by detectives on Saturday, August 13. She was charged with aggravated battery and put into Caddo Correctional Center.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
