St. Mary Parish, Louisiana – A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on December 7, 2024, on US 90 Eastbound Frontage Road just west of Louisiana Highway 83 in Franklin, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Remus Tardy of Baldwin, Louisiana.
According to Louisiana State Police Troop I, the incident happened just before 12:00 a.m. when Troopers were notified of the crash. The preliminary investigation revealed that Tardy was driving a 2002 Lincoln Town Car east on US 90 Eastbound Frontage Road. A passenger, who was also unrestrained, was transported to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries. Routine toxicology samples were obtained for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
