The closure is scheduled to take place from 8:00 pm on Monday, July 01, 2024, until 5:00 am on Tuesday, July 02, 2024.

During this closure, drivers traveling southbound on US 165 will need to follow a detour route to reach their destination. The detour route is as follows:

  • Take a westward turn onto LA 101
  • Proceed southward onto LA 383
  • Turn east onto LA 3258
  • Continue southward onto US 165

It’s important to note that the on-ramp from I-10 Westbound to US 165 Southbound will remain open to traffic, providing an alternative route for drivers in the area.

This closure is necessary for planned maintenance and improvements on the roadways to ensure the safety and efficiency of travel for all motorists.

Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly, follow detour signs, and allow for extra travel time to reach their destinations. Your patience and attention to traffic regulations are greatly appreciated to ensure a smooth traffic flow during the closure period.
