Louisiana State Police Requesting Assistance Locating an 81-Year-Old Zachary Man

The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert and is requesting assistance with locating Mr. Welton “Wic” Pierce. He was reported missing to the Zachary Police Department in East Baton Rouge Parish on Sunday, October 27, 2019. He was last seen by family members around 8:30 – 09:00 a.m. at his residence on Old Scenic Highway. Mr. Pierce left in his 2002 GMC Pickup truck (White) bearing Louisiana license plate W144768. His direction of travel is unknown.
Welton Pierce is an 81-year-old white male with gray hair and hazel eyes. He is approximately 5’11” tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing grey shorts and a blue short-sleeve shirt. Family members confirm Mr. Pierce suffers from dementia and has a heart condition. He did not take his cell phone or his heart medication with him. His medical condition may impair his judgment.
