Louisiana State Police Probe Officer-Involved Shooting in Baton Rouge, One Injured

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A joint investigation is underway into an officer-involved shooting that took place in Baton Rouge on November 21. The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) requested assistance from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations – Criminal Investigations Division to look into the incident.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred near the 3400 block of North Sherwood Forest Drive. During the incident, one subject was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injured individual was later booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Fortunately, no officers were injured during the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information or visual evidence related to the incident to come forward. Witnesses can share their accounts and submit photos or videos to Louisiana State Police detectives.
