Louisiana State Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting in Shreveport, Asking for Help From Anyone Who May Have Information

Shreveport, Louisiana – The Louisiana State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Shreveport and asking for help from anyone who may have information that can be helpful.

On February 9, 2023, Louisiana State Police stated that, at the request of the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), Troopers are investigating an officer-involved shooting along the 400 block of West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport, Louisiana. One individual was shot and sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. During the event, no officers were hurt.
