Louisiana State Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting in Alexandria After One Person Was Injured

Alexandria, Louisiana – Louisiana State Police detectives have launched an investigation into an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Alexandria on Wednesday night, following a request from the Alexandria Police Department.

The incident took place on March 19, 2025, at approximately 10:06 p.m. at the intersection of Willow Glen Street and 3rd Street. According to preliminary information released by authorities, one person was shot during the encounter and subsequently transported to a local hospital. Officials have not yet disclosed the condition of the individual or the circumstances that led to the shooting.

State Police confirmed that no officers were injured during the incident.
