Alexandria, Louisiana – Louisiana State Police detectives have launched an investigation into an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Alexandria on Wednesday night, following a request from the Alexandria Police Department.
The incident took place on March 19, 2025, at approximately 10:06 p.m. at the intersection of Willow Glen Street and 3rd Street. According to preliminary information released by authorities, one person was shot during the encounter and subsequently transported to a local hospital.
