Louisiana State Police Investigating Deadly Officer-Involved Shooting on Mansfield Road in Shreveport

Shreveport, Louisiana – Louisiana State Police is investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting on Mansfield Road in Shreveport.

Shreveport- on April 24, 2023, Louisiana State Police (LSP) reported that the Shreveport Police Department requested Troopers to investigate an officer-involved shooting on Mansfield Road at Valley View Drive, within the city limits of Shreveport, Louisiana. According to initial reports, one subject was shot and has been pronounced deceased.

No officers were injured during the incident.

Louisiana State Police are asking anyone with information, pictures, or video to share that information with LSP Detectives by calling 318-741-2735.
