Louisiana State Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting On Old Minden Road In Bossier City

Bossier City, Louisiana - Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations are examining an officer-involved shooting that took place on Old Minden Road in Bossier City on Thursday afternoon.

The Bossier City Police Department requested assistance from Louisiana State Police at approximately 5:30 p.m. to investigate the incident. LSP detectives arrived on scene to process evidence and collect information related to the shooting.

One individual sustained gunshot injuries during the encounter and received transport to a local hospital for medical treatment. The condition of the injured person remains undisclosed at this time.

No law enforcement officers suffered injuries during the incident, according to the Louisiana State Police statement.

Authorities continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The Louisiana State Police indicated that additional details will be released to the public as the investigation progresses and information becomes available.
