Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Detectives from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations are conducting a thorough investigation after an officer-involved shooting occurred just after 2:00 p.m. on June 17, 2025, on North Foster Drive near Fairfields Avenue in Baton Rouge. The incident resulted in injuries to one agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and one other individual, both of whom were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

According to official reports, the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab is actively processing the scene, collecting evidence, and gathering further information to determine the sequence of events that led to the shooting.
