Louisiana State Police Investigate Iowa Police Officer-Involved Shooting in Calcasieu Parish on I-10

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - Around 3:30 a.m. on May 31, 2024, detectives from the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were asked by the Iowa Police Department to look into a shooting involving an officer that took place on I-10 westbound near mile marker 7. Investigators are processing the scene and gathering more details.

No officers or civilians were injured in the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and more details will be shared as they become known.
