Louisiana State Police Investigate Homicide on Byson Road in Madison Parish

Madison Parish, Louisiana - On Thursday, January 9, 2025, Louisiana State Police Detectives from the Monroe Field Office were called upon by the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office to investigate a homicide that occurred in the 500 block of Byson Road. The incident, which took place in the early afternoon, resulted in the death of one individual, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Louisiana State Police (LSP) will lead the investigation, with the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office (MPSO) providing assistance.
