Louisiana State Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Madison Parish

Tallulah, Louisiana - A homicide investigation is currently underway in Tallulah, Louisiana, after a shooting occurred on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m. According to the Louisiana State Police, the incident took place in the 200 block of Thomas Street, resulting in the death of one person.

The Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives-Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) was requested by the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office (MPSO) to lead the investigation. MPSO will be assisting the LSP MFO in the ongoing inquiry.
