Louisiana State Police Investigate Deadly Crash on LA Hwy 1090

Pearl River, Louisiana - A 30-year-old Slidell man lost his life in a fatal single-vehicle crash on December 16, 2024, in St. Tammany Parish. According to the Louisiana State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on LA Hwy 1090 at Cedar Lane.

Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop L responded to the scene, where they found a 2015 Ford F-150 overturned. The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle, driven by Bo Stribling, had traveled off the right side of the roadway before overturning.

Stribling, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. As part of the ongoing investigation, a routine toxicology sample was obtained from Stribling for analysis.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the factors that contributed to the incident. The Louisiana State Police is urging drivers to always wear their seatbelts and to exercise caution while driving.
