Louisiana State Police and FBI Team Up to Apprehend Suspect in Child Sexual Exploitation Case

Livingston Parish, Louisiana – In collaboration with the FBI and the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana State Police Special Victim’s Unit (LSP SVU) apprehended Fleet J. O’Bryant of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 21st, 2024 in connection with a child sexual exploitation case. O’Bryant, aged 41, was arrested as a result of the investigation.

Following the investigation, O’Bryant was arrested on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with juveniles. He was taken to the Livingston Parish Detention Center. The case is still being looked into.

The LSP SVU is dedicated to rescuing and obtaining justice for victims of crimes such as child exploitation and human trafficking for sex or labor. This is achieved through collaboration with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as through public awareness efforts.
