Jefferson Parish, Louisiana – On June 18, 2025, Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU), in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO), concluded a two-day operation targeting the online exploitation of minors. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two men, Quindel Jarrow, 35, of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Edy Martinez-Rodriguez, 32, of Metairie, Louisiana. Both suspects were charged with multiple serious offenses related to child sexual exploitation.
Arrest Details and Charges
Authorities charged Jarrow and Martinez-Rodriguez with attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile, indecent behavior with juveniles, and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. These charges involve suspected attempts to engage with minors for unlawful sexual activities, both in person and online. Jarrow also faced an outstanding warrant from Denton County, Texas. Both individuals were booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. The investigation is ongoing and could result in additional charges as new evidence is reviewed.
