At around 3:30 p.m. on March 30, 2022, Louisiana State Fire Marshal deputies in the northern part of the state began assessing reports of storm damage as the severe weather in that area came to an end.
Local response teams are assessing the damage to Tallulah Academy, while State Fire Marshal deputies are collaborating with business owners at the Hodge strip mall to establish emergency relocation protocols so that they can reopen for business despite the damage to their building.

Parts of Southwest Louisiana also sustained some damage. The damage in our area was mainly shingles torn from roofs, as well as some damage to metal carports and storage buildings.

At the time of publication, no injuries had been reported.
