Louisiana Police Sergeant Apprehended for Alleged Drug Possession and Weapons Charges

Claiborne Parish, Louisiana – On Monday, November 6, 2023, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigation Bossier City Field Office (LSP BOI BCFO) Detectives took action in an ongoing investigation by apprehending 50-year-old Homer Police Department Sergeant Arnold Stephenson.

He was placed in Claiborne Parish Detention Center on charges of possessing schedule I narcotics with the intent to distribute and unlawfully carrying weapons.

The investigation is still in progress and active. More details will be shared as they are made available through collaboration with the Claiborne Parish District Attorney’s Office and LSP BOI BCFO.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
