The Louisiana Pirate Festival 2018 Events

The Louisiana Pirate Festival will kick off Thursday, May 3, 2018, and run until Sunday, May 13. The ten-day festival formerly known as Contraband Days was renamed Louisiana Pirate Festival in recent years. In addition to the name change, entry into the festival as well as parking will be FREE.

Family Day is now on the first day of the festival, rather than the usual Sunday. A few new events have been added this year in addition to the usual music, food, and vendors.

Some of the musical acts performing this year include Sean Ardoin & Zydekool, Jamie Bergeron & the kickin’ Cajuns, Dylan Scott, local favorite The Flame Throwers, and many more.

As usual, most events will happen on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but the carnival rides, food booths and vendors will still be open on weekdays.
