Louisiana Multi-Agency Criminal Enforcement Detail Results in 97 Arrests

From the Louisiana State Police – On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, through Thursday, December 19, 2019, Troopers from Louisiana State Police, with the assistance of the Shreveport Police Department and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, conducted a proactive criminal enforcement detail throughout the city of Shreveport. The collaborative effort sought to identify and apprehend individuals engaged in criminal activity and promote safe communities during the holiday season.

Throughout the criminal enforcement detail, Troopers and local law enforcement focused on areas of high criminal activity resulting in nearly 100 arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs and illegally possessed firearms.

Listed below are the totals of the detail:

  • 97 criminal arrests
  • 59 felony charges and 81 misdemeanor charges
  • the seizure of over 750 grams of illegal narcotics
  • the recovery of 11 illegally possessed firearms
  • the seizure of several thousand dollars in drug-related currency
