St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana - Louisiana State Police announced that a multi-day child exploitation investigation has led to the arrest of five people on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
The operation, concluded on January 30, 2025, was led by the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP/SVU) in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Covington Police Department, according to information released by state authorities.
Two arrests were handled by LSP/SVU detectives, while three additional arrests were made by the Covington Police Department. Officials did not immediately release details about the three individuals arrested by Covington police.
Two Suspects Booked Into St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center
Louisiana State Police identified the two individuals arrested by state detectives as:
- Kevin M. Pierre, 26, of Folsom
- Mayfield J. Lee, 44, of Metairie
Both Pierre and Lee were charged with:
- Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
- Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor
- Attempted Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile
Authorities stated that Pierre and Lee were booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center. No bond information or court dates were provided in the initial release.
Multi-Agency Child Exploitation Operation
The investigation was conducted over several days and involved cooperation between multiple law enforcement agencies. Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit detectives worked alongside:
