Louisiana Man with 25-Year History of Drug Charges Arrested Again Suspected of Possession with Intent to Distribute Drugs and Other Crimes
Zwolle, Louisiana – A Louisiana man with a 25-year history of drug charges has been arrested again and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
On December 27, 2022, Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell confirmed the arrest of Bacelis Brito Perry, 46, of Zwolle on Thursday evening, December 22, 2022.
Perry has been under investigation by the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Tactical Narcotics Team for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine for several months.
T.N.T. agents obtained a search order for a home and car on Cherry Street in Zwolle, Louisiana.
Inside Perry’s vehicle, agents reportedly discovered and collected around 3 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, nearly 2 pounds of suspected marijuana, cash, and drug paraphernalia.
Perry had a history of drug charges dating back 25 years.
Perry was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for Possession with intent to distribute schedule I (Marijuana), Possession with intent to distribute schedule II (Meth), Possession of drug paraphernalia, Second or subsequent offenses.
The 11th Judicial District Court has not set bond at this time.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
