Louisiana Man was Arrested After Brief Pursuit for Allegedly Shooting at Police Officers

Monroe, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested after a brief pursuit for allegedly shooting at police officers.

The Monroe Police Department (MPD) reported that on April 6, 2023, officers arrested Isszvian Webb on three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder.

According to authorities, the arrest warrant was acquired by MPD following an incident on February 5, 2023, in which Webb allegedly shot at Monroe Police Officers. Webb will also be charged with additional crimes as a result of a brief automobile chase and foot chase, according to MPD.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
