Donaldsonville, Louisiana – The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office (LASFM) revealed on December 6, 2022, that deputies are still investigating a deadly house fire in Donaldsonville, Louisiana that claimed the life of a male inhabitant.

The Donaldsonville Fire Department responded to a complaint of a house fire in the 3000 block of Caesar Lane shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30. When firefighters arrived, they discovered a seriously burned 83-year-old man on the driveway, surrounded by neighbors who had helped him escape.
