Louisiana man Found Guilty of Second-Degree Murder for Killing His Wife After a 2019 Argument
Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office reported on October 3, 2022, that Harold A. Campbell, 47, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was found guilty as charged on one count of Second Degree Murder on September 30, 2022.
After a verbal altercation, Campbell shot and killed his wife in their home in 2019.
Campbell faces a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of probation, parole, or sentence suspension. The sentencing date has been set for November 16, 2022, before Judge Robert Wyatt.
Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office Assistant District Attorneys Conrad Huber and Charles Robinson prosecuted the case.
