Louisiana Man Found Guilty of Rape of 11-Year-Old
Lake Charles – According to the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office, a Calcasieu Parish Jury found Allen J. Fontenot, 42, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, guilty of one count of First Degree Rape on April 4, 2022. Fontenot sexually abused a victim who was 11 at the time of the crimes in 2019. Fontenot faces a mandatory life sentence at hard labor without the possibility of probation, parole, or sentence suspension.
Fontenot is being held without bail. The sentencing date has been set for July 15, 2022, before Judge Robert Wyatt.
Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office Assistant District Attorneys Charles Robinson and Conrad Huber prosecuted the case.
