Louisiana Man Arrested Suspected of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment Following an Alteration with His Mother
Jennings, Louisiana – On January 16, a Louisiana man was arrested suspected of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, following a physical altercation with his mother and in the presence of a child.
The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed on January 17, 2023, that on January 16, Deputies were summoned to a residence on Empire Road in Jennings, Louisiana, in response to a Domestic Disturbance that happened at an address in the 3200 Block of Koll Road, also in Jennings.
Deputies met with the complainant upon arrival, who stated that she and her son had a disagreement that escalated into a physical altercation in the presence of her two-year-old grandson.
According to the complainant, John snatched her phone and pushed her to the ground in the front room of the home.
John David Prejean, 35, was arrested for domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
