Louisiana Man Arrested Suspected of Distributing Lethal Quantity of Fentanyl that Caused a Death in 2022
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) arrested Lamarcos Robinson for allegedly distributing a lethal quantity of fentanyl that caused a death in 2022.
On February 9, 2023, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) revealed that in January 2023, EBRSO Narcotics and DEA Baton Rouge identified Lamarcos Robinson as the suspected distributor of a lethal quantity of fentanyl that caused the death of an individual in 2022. During the course of a month-long investigation of Robinson, an undercover EBRSO Narcotics Agent acquired fentanyl from Robinson on four separate occasions.
Agents acquired an arrest warrant for Robinson and a search warrant for the apartment he used to sell fentanyl as a result of this investigation.
EBRSO Narcotics, with support from EBRSO K-9, EBRSO Air Support, and C.B.P./H.S.I. Air Support, apprehended Robinson on February 9, 2023, while executing a search warrant at an address in the 11000 Block of Bard Drive.
During the execution of the search warrant, Lamarcos Robinson, 26, was arrested, suspected of 4 counts of Distribution of Fentanyl, Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (Fentanyl), 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm with Drugs, Operation of a Clandestine Lab, Possession of Drugs in the Presence of a Juvenile, Cruelty to a Juvenile, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Robinson is also currently on Probation until May 16, 2024.
Kenisha Flowers, 26, was also arrested, suspected of Cruelty to a Juvenile.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, 1.5 ounces of Fentanyl (over 150 lethal doses), 1 suboxone strip, 2 grams of marijuana, a 9MM semi-auto handgun (No serial number/”ghost gun”), Taurus 9MM semi-auto handgun, $1,359 (pending seizure), and Numerous scales with fentanyl residue were seized during the investigation.

EBRSO K-9 (Patrol), EBRSO Air Support, DEA Baton Rouge, CBP/HSI Air Support, and the Central Police Department assisted in the investigation.
EBRSO said that a large portion of this case was made possible by the Fentanyl overtime funding provided by the State via Senator Bodi White.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
