Louisiana Man Arrested Suspected of 764 Counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles and 82 Charges of Animal Sexual Abuse

Caddo Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested suspected of 764 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles and 82 charges of animal sexual abuse.

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Shreveport man for allegedly possessing and distributing hundreds of pornographic photographs and videos involving juveniles as well as pornographic images featuring animals.

Detective Thomas Lites arrested Wayne Parks, 48, of Shreveport, Louisiana on March 15, 2022, after an investigation that began in November 2022. On March 1, Detective Lites obtained and executed a search warrant for Park’s residence and removed various electronic devices. During a digital inspection of his devices, he reportedly discovered over 800 photographs and videos portraying child sexual abuse of prepubescent children and animal pornography.

Parks was arrested and charged with 764 counts of Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles and 82 charges of Animal Sexual Abuse. He has been booked into the Caddo Correctional Center and is being held without bond.

While this is an ongoing investigation, further charges may be filed.
