Louisiana Man Arrested on Multiple Drug-Related Charges After Authorities Find Drugs and Two Juveniles in a Jennings Home While Executing Search Warrant

Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested on multiple drug-related charges after authorities found drugs and two juveniles in a Jennings home while executing a search warrant.

According to the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives executed a search warrant on April 11, 2023, at an address in the 1000 Block of West Nezpique Street in Jennings, Louisiana.

Investigators executed the warrant and found Charles Woods and two other adults, as well as two juveniles ages 2 and 5, in the residence. Investigators reportedly found a plastic bag of Schedule II Hydrocodone pills and a purple grinder during their search of the residence.

According to authorities, Charles Lee Woods, 33, was arrested and booked into the Parish Jail and charged with Possession of CDS II, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of a Minor along with his 2 outstanding warrants for Distribution of CDS II (Fentanyl).

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
