Louisiana Man Arrested in Multi-Agency Investigation For Alleged Possession of Drugs and Other Crimes
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A man from Louisiana has been arrested as a result of a multi-agency investigation for allegedly possessing drugs and committing other crimes.
On May 15, 2023, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported that Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) Detectives, with the assistance of the US Marshal’s Task Force and BRPD Uniform Patrol 2nd District Day Shift, arrested Jarvis Mason in the 9500 block of Avis Ave.
According to reports from BRPD, law enforcement confiscated 829.4 grams of marijuana (1.8 lbs.), 66.2 grams of powder cocaine (2.3 oz.), a digital scale, a box of clear baggies, a blue plastic rifle auto sear used to convert to a machine gun, an undisclosed amount of US Currency and a Glock 9mm firearm equipped with a Glock “switch”.
Baton Rouge Police Department thanked the US Marshal’s Task Force, BRPD 2nd District U/P Day Shift, and DEA/HIDTA Task Force for their assistance in the investigation.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
