Louisiana Man Arrested in Connection with Violent October 16 Road Rage Incident
Louisiana – On October 20, 2022, Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre reported that Bryan Cage, 37, was arrested in relation to a battery. Cage is charged with second-degree battery and hit-and-run driving.
Earlier, deputies responded to a battery on Causey Road in Prairieville at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16. When deputies arrived, they discovered a man suffering from several injuries outside the property. The victim was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment. During their investigation, officers discovered that the victim was engaged in a minor accident prior to the battery. The victim told officers that a male individual operating the second vehicle attacked him when he parked at a nearby place.
With the assistance of law enforcement technology, police were able to identify Bryan Cage as the culprit after further investigation. Cage turned himself in at the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office shortly after investigators got a warrant for his arrest. He was booked into the Parish Jail. This is a continuing investigation.
