Ascension Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested in connection with an October 2022 robbery gone bad and other crimes.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office has reported that Kayden Joseph Killian has turned himself in, in connection with an October 2022 robbery case. He was arrested and taken to the Ascension Parish Jail. He is suspected of second-degree murder, attempted armed robbery, criminal conspiracy/armed robbery, fentanyl, clonazolam, and marijuana possession.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on John Broussard Road in Prairieville, Louisiana on October 25, 2022. Detectives discovered throughout their investigation that Killain and Richardson had planned to rob a male victim at the home where the incident occurred the day before. Killain and Richardson arrived at the residence in the same vehicle and attempted the heist. During this moment, the target opened fire on Richardson, who was also armed. Before fleeing, the subject fired several rounds at Killain.
