Louisiana Man Arrested in Connection with August 28 Homicide in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – The Baton Rouge Police Department reported on September 1, 2022, that detectives with the help of the United States Marshals apprehended Marcus Earl Green, 42, for the shooting death of Rosalind Scott on August 28, 2022.

Green was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of 2nd Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.

Rosalind Scott, 59, was shot and killed in the 4000 block of Glen Oaks Drive on August 28, 2022, according to Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives.
Scott was discovered with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Scott died at the scene.
