Jennings, Louisiana - A Jennings man was arrested on August 12, 2025, following an extensive investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office. Authorities charged 47-year-old Joshua Christopher Marceaux of Jennings, Louisiana, with multiple felonies, including crimes involving child sexual abuse materials and sexual abuse of animals.

According to the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Marceaux faces three felony counts under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:81.1E(5)(a) for possessing child sexual abuse materials involving victims under the age of 13. In addition, he is charged with 65 counts of sexual abuse of an animal—an offense criminalized in Louisiana to address acts of bestiality and safeguard animal welfare.

The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided a tip to authorities, triggering a collaborative probe led by state and parish law enforcement agencies.

Marceaux was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Consolidated Jail. At this time, information regarding his bond has not been released. The investigation remains active, and law enforcement has not commented on potential additional charges or forthcoming court appearances.
