Louisiana Man Arrested for 49 Counts Associated with Pornography Involving Juveniles, Authorities Asking Public for Assistance in Investigation

Louisiana – On August 8, 2022, the Office of Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry reported that the Cyber Crime Unit has arrested a Slidell man for internet crimes against children, and the Attorney General is asking the public for their assistance in this ongoing investigation.

Shaun Dennis, 25, of Slidell, Louisiana, was arrested on 39 charges of possessing pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 and ten counts of producing pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13. A collaborative investigation by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest. Dennis was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
