Louisiana Man Arrested Charged with Theft After Allegedly Stealing from His Employer Using Company Debit Card 

 Bossier City, Louisiana – Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator reported on January 31, 2023, that an employee of the Louisiana company Magnolia Plumbing was arrested for allegedly stealing money from the company.

Brad Peccio, 44, of Bossier City, Louisiana, was arrested on Tuesday, January 31, after an investigation determined he began a scheme to steal from his employer, resulting in a $7,700 loss.

Peccio’s job responsibilities included purchasing items from local hardware stores to complete work-related assignments, for which he was given a company debit card. It was discovered in January 2023 that Peccio had been using the debit card for personal purposes since May 2022. He paid personal bills and received unauthorized cash back on 75 different hardware store transactions.

Detective Roosevelt Tadlock of the Caddo Sheriff’s Office investigated the case for the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force. Peccio was arrested for felony theft as a result of his investigation. At the time of his arrest, he was incarcerated at the Caddo Correctional Center for an unrelated offense.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
