Louisiana Man Arrested Charged with Attempted Murder for Allegedly Shooting at a Home After an Altercation with a Family Member
On September 28, 2022, the Baton Rouge Police Department reported that detectives have arrested Kelvin Wallace 55 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on the charges of Attempted First Degree Murder and Illegal use of Weapons of Dangerous Instrumentalities.
Investigators indicated that they suspect Wallace walked outside and fired a firearm toward the residence after an altercation with an adult female family member. As a result, a teen member of the family was struck in the arm.
The juvenile was sent to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Wallace was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on the counts listed above.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
