Louisiana Man Arrested Now Charged with 141 Counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles and 79 Counts of Sexual Abuse of Animals
On August 23, 2022, Caddo detectives announced that they have found new evidence in a child pornography and animal sexual abuse case against a Shreveport, Louisiana man, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
Jacob Butler, 25, now faces 141 counts of pornography involving juveniles and 79 counts of sexual abuse of an animal.
During the initial investigation, Caddo detectives searched Butler’s devices and found 29 pornographic images involving children as young as 4 years old, and 41 images depicting the sexual abuse of dogs and horses. Butler was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on Monday, August 22.
Butler remains in jail with no bond.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on August 22, 2022, that a Shreveport, Louisiana man was arrested after cybercrime detectives reportedly discovered videos and images of child pornography and animal sexual abuse on his electronic devices.
According to Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Thomas Lites, Jacob Bulter, 25, of Shreveport, Louisiana allegedly downloaded, possessed, and uploaded numerous child pornography online. Detectives discovered a total of 70 illicit recordings and photos on his devices during the initial inquiry.
On Monday, August 22, Jacob was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on 29 counts of pornography involving juveniles and 41 counts of sexual abuse of animals.
Authorities indicated that the investigation is ongoing and Butler could face more charges.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
