Louisiana Man Arrested After Shipping and Receiving Drugs

A Louisiana man has been arrested and charged with possession of schedule I drugs with the intent to distribute after allegedly shipping and receiving a large amount of narcotics.
On Sunday, June 27, 2021, Troopers with the Louisiana State Police received information that 41-year-old Ryan Pugh shipped a large amount of narcotics, in a wooden crate, to Shreveport.
Troopers, along with DEA Task Force agents, conducted surveillance on the package, at a shipment facility, in Shreveport. On the afternoon of Monday, June 28, 2021, Pugh arrived at the shipment facility and took possession of the crate. He then transported it, to a residence, in Shreveport.
As a result of the investigation, Troopers and agents seized the following:
- Approximately 266 lbs of THC Edibles
- Approximately 77 lbs of Marijuana
- Approximately 144 grams of THC Oil
- 7 THC Vape Pens
- $6,260 in U.S. Currency
Pugh was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center. He was charged with possession of schedule I drugs with the intent to distribute.
