Louisiana Man Arrested After Months-Long Investigation in Connection with Possession and Distribution of Cocaine, Fentanyl, Suboxone, Hydrocodone, Codeine, and Other Crimes
Livingston Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested after a months-long investigation in connection with the possession and distribution of cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone, hydrocodone, codeine, and other crimes.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO) reported that over the past several months, Narcotics Agents have been investigating the distribution of illegal street-level drugs.
Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said, “During our investigation, we were led to Antoine Gutter – AKA ‘Rico. We were also led to Juniper Street in Denham Springs, Louisiana. LPSO Narcotics then secured & executed search warrants at two homes on Juniper Street.”
During the investigation and execution of search warrants, investigators reportedly seized methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, suboxone, hydrocodone, codeine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, THC edibles, two firearms, packaging material and digital weighing scales, and $816.00 in U.S currency.
44-year-old Antoine “Rico” Gutter was processed into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on various charges.
Authorities indicated that this investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are possible.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office thanked the LPSO Criminal Patrol Division, Special Response Team (SRT), Burglary Division, K9 Division, Uniform Patrol Division, Baton Rouge Police Department, and ATF.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
