Louisiana Man Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing One Family Member and Cutting Another During Altercation in Lake Charles

Lake Charles, Louisiana – A man from Louisiana was arrested after he allegedly stabbed one family member and cut another during an altercation in Lake Charles.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) stated on May 8, 2023, that deputies were summoned to a home in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in relation to a disturbance on May 7 at approximately 6:00 p.m.

During the inquiry, officials reportedly discovered that Dyllan M. Villa, 22, Lake Charles, Louisiana, was involved in a verbal altercation with a family member. Villa allegedly armed himself with a small knife during the argument and stabbed the victim in the chest. Villa is also alleged to have cut another family member during the event.

Villa was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on charges of aggravated battery on two counts. His bond was still pending at the time this was published

Both victims were injured but refused medical attention.

CPSO Deputy Spencer Biven made the arrest in this instance, and CPSO Detective Matthew Fast is the main investigator.
