Louisiana Man Arrested After Allegedly Shooting Woman in Face Multiple Times With Pellet Gun and Leading Police on Pursuit

Shreveport, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested after he allegedly shot a woman in the face multiple times with a pellet gun and lead police on a pursuit.

The Shreveport Police Department stated on June 20, 2023, that on June 18, at around 7:55 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a woman on the side of the highway laying against the concrete barrier. Officers arrived to find the woman had been shot many times at close range with a pellet gun, resulting in serious injuries.

Officers discovered that the victim was involved in a domestic quarrel inside a vehicle when she was shot many times with a pellet gun and forced from the vehicle onto the side of the road. Following this event, patrol officers spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled. A brief automobile chase occurred, followed by a brief foot chase.

Officers eventually arrested Antonio Hall, 19, for the alleged incident. Hall was charged with Domestic Abuse Battery and Aggravated Flight from an Officer. The victim is expected to recover.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
