Louisiana Man Arrested After Aggravated Assault Investigation Leads to Arrest for Methamphetamine and Marijuana

Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested after an aggravated assault investigation leads to an arrest for methamphetamine and marijuana.

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) reported on March 17, 2023, that during the night of March 3, they received a report of an alleged aggravated assault with a firearm. Further investigation into the allegations by APSO Detectives resulted in the 12th Judicial District Court issuing an arrest warrant for the offenses of Criminal Mischief and Obstruction of Justice for the arrest of 37-year-old Fredrick Camile Bradford of Cottonport, Louisiana, as well as search warrants for the residence at that address and a nearby area.

On March 10, 2023, APSO Detectives, Patrol Deputies, and the K9 Unit arrested Bradford and served the search warrants. According to authorities, the searches turned up a large quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana, prompting Bradford to face additional charges.

Frederick Camile Bradford (aka Freddie Bradford) was arrested for Criminal Mischief, Obstruction of Justice, Schedule I Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Schedule II Possession with Intent to Distribute. He was arrested and taken to APSO DC-1 in Marksville. The bond amount was fixed at $255,000.00.
