Three individuals were apprehended on March 15, 2024, by the Louisiana State Police-Special Victim's Unit (LSP-SVU), in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Madisonville Police Department, for their alleged involvement in child sexual exploitation.

The accused include 24-year-old John Anthony Campanella III from Mandeville, Louisiana, 36-year-old Ross Brignac from Mandeville, Louisiana, and 41-year-old Stuart Stringer from Denham Springs, Louisiana. These individuals face charges under LRS 14:81.3 for computer-aided solicitation of a minor and LRS 14:81 for indecent behavior with juveniles. They have been booked at the St. Tammany Parish Jail, while ongoing investigations continue.

The primary focus of the LSP-SVU is to protect and seek justice for victims who have suffered from crimes involving the exploitation of children and human trafficking for sexual or labor purposes. This dedicated unit collaborates closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, while also promoting public awareness and education.

Assistance from the public is helpful in identifying and apprehending suspects involved in these heinous crimes. Authorities ask that any suspicious or criminal activity should be promptly reported. Louisiana State Police offers an online reporting system, accessible to the public through an anonymous reporting form, which can be found at http://la-safe.org/.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
