Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – The eastbound lanes of I-10 at milepost 39 in Calcasieu Parish, between Lake Charles and Iowa, Louisiana, are closed due to a significant rock spill. The incident has caused traffic congestion for approximately 6 miles, with eastbound traffic being diverted onto LA 397 then US 90. The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is working on the cleanup, and the closure is expected to continue until at least 9:30 PM.

Drivers should be cautious of slow or stopped traffic.
