Louisiana Hunting Rules, Regulations, Season Schedules for 2022-23 Now Available

Louisiana – On July 19, 2022, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) released its 2022-23 hunting regulations pamphlet online.

The pamphlet contains hunting rules, regulations, and season dates for the 2022-23 season, as well as hunting information on LDWF Wildlife Management Areas and federal lands in Louisiana. It also includes information on LDWF’s new licensing process and fees.

Printed copies of the pamphlets should be available in late August at LDWF offices across the state and at vendors selling hunting and fishing licenses. The regulation pamphlet for this season also includes season schedules for the state’s ten deer hunting areas as well as major changes for the 2022-23 season.
