Thibodaux, Louisiana – Louisiana State Police Troop C started looking into a deadly crash on Louisiana Highway 20 near Farmer Lane involving a motorcycle, which resulted in the death of Dustin Craven from Saucier, Mississippi, who was 30 years old at the time. The incident occurred just after 1:00 a.m. on May 19, 2024.
Initial findings showed that Craven was heading south on LA Hwy 20, navigating a left curve on his 2022 Harley-Davidson Street Glide. The motorcycle veered off the road for unknown reasons and collided with a utility pole, resulting in Craven being thrown from the bike.
Craven sustained injuries that proved to be fatal and passed away at the location.
A regular toxicology sample was taken from Craven and sent for testing. The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
