Louisiana DOTD Hosts Open House in Lake Charles for Public Input on Country Club Road Safety and Traffic Flow Improvements

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced an open house event scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The purpose of this gathering is to provide a platform for the public to offer feedback on potential options aimed at enhancing safety and traffic efficiency along a segment of LA 384, specifically Country Club Road, stretching from Big Lake Road to McNeese Street, while also ensuring smooth mobility for all road users.

The open house will be held at the SEED Center, located at 4310 Ryan St., Lake Charles, LA 70605, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Representatives from the DOTD and Neel-Schaffer Inc., the consulting team overseeing the Stage 0 Feasibility Study, will be in attendance to receive comments and address any queries from the attendees.
