Vinton, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a lane closure on Interstate 10 Eastbound in Vinton, which is expected to affect traffic flow in the region. Starting from 7 p.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024, the right lane of I-10 Eastbound will be closed from Mile Marker 8.5 (Exit 8) to Mile Marker 10. The closure is scheduled to last until 6 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024.

The second option involves exiting onto LA 3063 at Exit 7, heading north, and then turning right onto US 90 going east. Again, motorists can turn right onto LA 27 in Sulphur and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 Eastbound.
